We pay $0.17 USD per minute ($10.20/hour) for Cambly and $0.20 USD per minute ($12.00/hour) for Cambly Kids.
Cambly offers payment through PayPal, direct deposit (ACH and eCheck), wire transfer, and prepaid debit card. We process payments every Tuesday (by the end of the business day PST). You can also choose to be paid weekly, biweekly, or every four weeks.

You’ll just need to fill out some basic information, answer a few questions about your teaching style, then film a short introduction video. We don’t require you to pass a live interview or demo lesson so you’ll be able to start tutoring as soon as your profile is approved.

Cambly Kids is a platform geared toward children aged 4-15. Like Cambly, Cambly Kids allows students to learn and practice speaking English with a native English speaker. It pays $0.20 for every minute you chat ($12.00/hour).
What are the best times to tutor? Cambly has students from all over the world so you can tutor at any time and from any time zone! What are the requirements to become a tutor?You must be a native English speaker who is at least 18 years old with a strong internet connection. That’s it! We do not require prior teaching experience or teaching certificates. Our students are looking for people with the desire to help them practice speaking English in a fun, encouraging, and professional environment!
Can I tutor if I don't live in the USA?Absolutely! Our tutors are currently living in many different places around the world :)
Can I turn my webcam off while I’m tutoring?No, Cambly does not allow tutoring without video because seeing the tutor's mouth movement and facial expressions are vital to the student's English learning experience. All tutors are asked to have their cameras on at all times while tutoring on Cambly!
